We were people who never really thought we would be building a custom home. We bought a lot, and checked with several on your lot builders but just never really felt satisfied that we were getting a house we really wanted that would fit in with the area we were building in. We took a shot at some custom builders with a floor plan we had come up with, and after talking to several we were completely convinced that Howell Custom Homes was the perfect fit. Monte understood our vision and made us feel 100% comfortable with the process. Custom prices were all over the board, but Howell Custom Homes was very reasonable and we did not have to lose out on the special touches we wanted our home to have. We could not be happier in our beautiful home!

This was our first new house. We had a few general ideas and a price range. We looked at several model homes, and when we saw Monte's house, we knew he was the one. We knew he was the best builder. After four years, we still feel that way. We asked about changes we would like to make, and Monte took us to his designer. We talked about some of the changes we would like. Monte made some suggestions that made sense. As the building progressed, Monte would take us to places like the brick supplier. We had no idea that there were so many different bricks and colors. Ditto for the flooring, bath tile, kitchen cabinets and other small things that we never even thought about. After living here for almost four years, we had a small plumbing problem. I e-mailed Monte and he e-mailed me back within minutes and gave me the name of the plumber who plumbed our house. The plumber called me that afternoon and set up an appointment for the following day. The plumber fixed the problem at no charge.
